Start download

1) Save the Adarvo.tar.gz file in an suitable folder.
Below we assume that you have saved it in folder "~".

2) Unpack the archive:

cd ~

tar xvfz Adarvo.tar.gz

3) Change to the generated folder.

For example:
cd Adarvo1.05

4) Start the installation script:

./install

The script installs an icon on the Desktop in KDE (or Gnome). It also tests whether Java 1.4 (prerequisite for Adarvo) is correctly installed and displays additional instructions if it is not installed.

5) To install a new version, repeat the instructions above. If you do so, no data is overwritten. After you install the new version you can delete the folder for the old version.

For example:
rm -r ~/Adarvo1.04
